Timothy P. Schmitt
Mr. Schmitt has over twenty-five years experience in multiple industries. Mr. Schmitt held various financial positions in Fortune 200 companies including Motorola. He has concentrated in Health Care for the past fifteen years. Mr. Schmitt started up and ran a multi-specialty IPA with over 8,000 capitated lives. He has consulted with physician groups in New York, Ohio, Texas, and Illinois on the benefits of physician networks and PHOs.

Mr. Schmitt has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer for a Healthcare system, President of a PHO, and Chief Operating Officer for a hospital. Most recently Mr. Schmitt was Vice President of Operations & Finance for Planlinx a venture capital backed web based healthcare self-service company. Mr. Schmitt formed an orthopaedic single specialty network called Combined Orthopaedic Specialists (COS) in Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. Mr. Schmitt was the President and CEO of COS, which developed package price arrangements and discounted fee arrangements with MCOs, self-insured employers, and workers compensation carriers. He also created one of the first provider sponsored worker compensation products called Quality Compensation Care.
